Ray Roundtree has been named Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Beltway Region, overseeing the organization’s operational, strategic and financial performance across Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and parts of Delaware, North Carolina and West Virginia.
“Ray is an incredible leader who has been driving growth and fostering a dynamic work culture at Comcast for more than 20 years,” said Amy Lynch, President of Comcast’s Northeast Division, which includes 14 northeastern states from Maine through Virginia and the District of Columbia. “With his proven track record running major markets and a passion for delivering an excellent experience for our customers, Ray is uniquely positioned to propel our Beltway Region to continued success.”
Roundtree joined Comcast in 2000 and has served in several leadership roles across the country, including most recently as Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Keystone Region, which is based in Pittsburgh. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Finance for Comcast’s Beltway Region, where he now returns as the region’s top executive.

Roundtree holds a B.S. in Finance and an MBA from Penn State University where he was a wide receiver for the 1986 national championship Nittany Lions.
