Spring is right around the corner, which means two of our favorite live video feeds are up and running for another season. Comcast Business is providing the internet connection that gives thousands of wildlife enthusiasts an up-close and personal look at falcons in Richmond, VA, and ospreys in Severna Park, MD.
In Richmond, we have partnered with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources for the fifth year to document the activities of a peregrine falcon pair that nests atop the 21st floor of the Riverfront Plaza building. Fans can follow along via the live camera shown here: dwr.virginia.gov/falcon-cam/.
Over in Severna Park, we have teamed back up with local residents Mark and Heather Jeweler and HDOnTap to present the sixth year of the osprey cam, which monitors a nest atop a Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE)-constructed platform outside Severna Park High School. Those interested in watching the journey of these birds can view the feed here: severnaparkospreys.com.
