Comcast Beltway Region Shows its Pride in June
At Comcast, one of our top operating principles is diversity and inclusion. We believe that a diverse and inclusive company is a more effective company, leading us to approach diversity as a driver for business growth and innovation. All this month, Comcast has been celebrating Pride Month by participating in local Pride Parades and showcasing a range of new programming that reflects the diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community.
Our Beltway Region employees and their friends and family members showed support to the LGBTQ community by walking in the Baltimore, Delaware and Washington, D.C. Pride Parades this month. Check out some of the pictures from the walks:
We will also be participating in the Annapolis Pride Parade on June 29 and hope to see you there!
And with Xfinity, it’s Pride All Year. Xfinity X1 gives you access to the largest collection of LGBTQ content at home and on-the-go. From a Pride Month Music collection to a special Stonewall 50 collection in honor of the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, Xfinity has something for everyone. The best part is that any of this content can be easily found by simply saying “Pride” into the X1 Voice Remote.
Comcast NBCUniversal is committed to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer community during national Pride month in June and all year long. No matter the time of year, diverse and inclusive stories will always find a home on Xfinity. The entertainment we see on television should reflect the diversity of all communities, and this has never been truer for our LGBTQ friends and family.
