Concerted Care Group Addiction Treatment Centers Depend on Comcast Business Ethernet and Voice to Support its Patient Care

Healthcare provider uses Comcast Business services to offer evidence-based treatment to more than 1,200 individuals daily.

BALTIMORE – September 19, 2018Comcast Business today announced that Concerted Care Group, a provider of community-based addiction treatment centers in the Baltimore area, relies on Comcast’s Ethernet and voice services to provide its 120 staff members with real-time access to critical information and communication when providing comprehensive, integrated and evidence-based medication-assisted treatment. With three outpatient opioid treatment program locations in Baltimore, Brooklyn and Frederick, Maryland, Concerted Care Group offers housing, food, transportation, addiction counseling, mental health and primary care services to provide a holistic solution to addiction.

Concerted Care Group has been using Comcast Business services since it opened with each location boasting a 50 Megabits-per-second (Mbps) Ethernet Dedicated Internet connection to manage its electronic health records, productivity tools, medical billing and administrative solutions. The provider also uses the Comcast SIP, an internet-based voice solution providing a wide range of features including call forwarding, so calls don’t go unanswered. Additionally, the provider has Comcast Business Internet and Comcast Business Class TV for center patient areas and Business Class Voice.
