New Interactive Store Design Centered on the Customer Experience
Comcast has announced the launch of the company’s new interactive Xfinity retail store model, created to provide customers an immersive destination to discover Xfinity products and services. Comcast has been on a journey to transform the customer experience, and Xfinity Stores are a place where customers can learn how to optimize their Xfinity services and address any service needs. The first of the new store format locations include a recently opened Xfinity Store at The Row at Greengate in Henrico, VA.
Comcast recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Row at GreenGate Xfinity Store with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony with Heidi Cook, Vice President of Government Affairs for Virginia Cable Telecommunications Association; John Neal, Henrico County General Services Director; and Walter Johnson III, Henrico County Cable Television Advisory Board Member.
The new more than 4,000 square-foot store features a comfortable seating area and informational, interactive displays where customers can learn more about Comcast’s products and services, including the X1 Entertainment Operating System, Xfinity Mobile, Xfinity Home automation and security offerings and Comcast’s suite of mobile apps. The store also has a dedicated space for Comcast Business customers and prospects to come in and discuss their business technology needs with an expert.
Customers can also visit the store to upgrade or swap equipment, ask questions about their Xfinity service, troubleshoot equipment or pay a bill at an in-store kiosk. Additionally, customers will receive personalized service from trained and knowledgeable Sales Consultants and more time-saving offerings, including a new queuing system that allows customers to explore and be entertained while waiting for service.
The Xfinity store is located at 12241 W. Broad Street and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 a.m. – 5 p.m.
