We are excited to continue spotlighting our local Comcast team members through our Faces of Beltway campaign, which allows us to get to know our teammates and feel a little bit more connected. Today, we meet Delilah Kleiner and learn about how her vision into the future helps our technicians be in the right place, at the right time, to meet our customers’ needs.
Tell us a little about your day-to-day job and what you like most about it?
I work in workforce forecasting, which basically means I take past information to tell the future here at Comcast. I analyze data so that technicians are in the right place when a customer needs them, either for their home or their business. I love using data to tell the future – it’s amazing how much we can learn from the past.
What is it like to work at Comcast?
I get to work with some of the most amazing people, the job is interesting and keeps me motivated, and there is always room to grow.
How does your role at Comcast improve the customer experience?
I’m able to make an impact on the customer experience by sharing my thoughts and ideas with my leadership team. They’re always ready to listen to my suggestions for service improvements.
What has your experience with employee resource groups at Comcast been like?
I am a member of all six employee resource groups here in the Beltway Region. It makes me feel like I’m part of something bigger. The OUT@Comcast employee resource group drag show event was so much fun! I was able to invite my whole team and we all enjoyed watching it together. Virtual Pride World was amazing – it had a ton of content and was really informative. And being a mom of four, I don’t have a lot of time to myself, so I try to participate in events as they work with my schedule.
Tell us some fun facts about yourself.
I’m a big Stephen King fan! I have read almost all of his books, and I own over 50 of them right now. My favorite one is Misery. And something I thought was sweet, Stephen wrote Eyes of a Dragon, a fairy tale, for his daughter because she doesn’t like horror stories.
I’m also a roller coaster enthusiast. I live six miles from King’s Dominion in Virginia. My favorite roller coaster there is Intimidator 305. I used to live in Southern California and visited Six Flags Magic Mountain all the time. I also went to Disney World in Florida just to ride Tower of Terror the year it came out.
