- Get connection at home with Internet Essentials: To help close the digital divide and ensure everyone can connect to the Internet at home, we provide low-cost, high-speed Internet service for $9.95 a month plus tax; the option to purchase an Internet-ready computer for under $150; and multiple options to access free digital literacy training in print, online and in person for low-income residents and families. Eligible program applicants must have at least one child who is eligible for the National School Lunch Program or receive HUD housing assistance. And, with our most recent announcement, now low-income veterans are also eligible to enroll.
- Manage your home WiFi network: With the Xfinity xFi app, you can control your Internet usage from anywhere, on any device. Keep your kids focused by using “Active Time Alerts” to set time allowances for their daily WiFi usage; see what devices are online, how long they’ve been on and even pause WiFi for devices on your network, so those written assignments get done as well. And, consider setting up xFi Pods in those hard-to-reach areas of your home for full-home WiFi coverage.
- Get piece of mind with Xfinity Home: With Xfinity Home, you can use the app to monitor activity with live video of outdoor and indoor cameras or receive alerts when your kids get home safely from school.
