Comcast Outdoor Film Festivals Return to Washington, D.C. Area

Grab a lawn chair or blanket and gather your friends and family for an outdoor movie night!  Comcast is again excited to sponsor free Outdoor Film Festivals in the Washington, D.C. area this summer. Founded in 1996, the Comcast Outdoor Film Festival was the first major outdoor screening event in the United States. Now, there are several locations hosting festivals every year!

The first local festival will be this Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14 from 8:30-11:30 p.m. at the scenic Waterfront Park in Alexandria, VA. Guests will be able to enjoy family favorite, Coco, on Friday and blockbuster hit, Wonder Woman, on Saturday on a four-story high HD movie screen. A second local festival takes place August 23-26 at 7: 30 p.m. at The Mansion at Strathmore in Bethesda, MD with a variety of films including Coco, Black Panther, The Lion King and Wonder Woman. For more information, visit filmfestnih.org.

The Comcast Outdoor Film Festivals offer not only an array of great films, food and entertainment, but an opportunity for Comcast to connect with the local community and contribute to a great cause.
