At Comcast, we are proud of the partnerships we have created with our local organizations and business customers and are always looking for new ways to work with and support them, especially now as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times.

To give back and say ‘thank you’ to essential workers in Maryland and Virginia who are on the front lines every day, we partnered with local restaurants, who also are Comcast Business customers, to purchase meals and deliver them to grocery store employees, first responders and medical professionals:

  • Jimmy’s Seafood in Baltimore, MD, delivered lunch to employees at Johns Hopkins Emergency Department and the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS);
  • Sardi’s Pollo A La Brasa in Frederick, MD, delivered lunch to the Frederick Fire Department Stations 1, 2, 3, 4, 31 and 33;
  • Adam’s Taphouse Grille in Fruitland, MD, delivered lunch and dinner to employees at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center;
  • Roadie Joe’s in Salisbury, MD, delivered lunch to employees at the local Food Lion;
  • Specific Gravity in Salisbury, MD, delivered lunch to employees at the local ACME Market;
  • And Trak’s in Richmond, VA, delivered lunch to employees at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center.

Below are a few pictures from the deliveries. For more information on other ways Comcast is responding to the pandemic, click here.
